Space at Sea

06 February 2019Anna Boon

Space at sea is the last of the three topics that will be discussed at the symposium. The sea covers 70% of the Earths surface. With a growing population we will need to utilize this space. In the North Sea there are multiple projects going on to use the space. The NOS has published an article about the North Sea in which Han Lindeboom, a speaker at the symposium, talks about the options and the problems. You can find the article here (it is in Dutch). During the symposium Jan van Kessel (an engineer), Han Lindeboom (an ecologist) and Maarten Claringbould (a jurist) will discuss the future of Space at Sea and you will be able to ask them all the questions you have regarding the subject!
